Dropping an Injured Player to the Minors via WAIVER:

1)  Go to Player Tracking and get the players Injury Games (9 to 13)
2)  Find out how many complete games in a row this player has missed (Many sites have game by game tracking - use your favorite)
3)  Use this chart to find the penalty.  A player cannot be less then zero in a drop.  If he had 8 and is a Minus 3, dropping him to the minors means he is a 5 point player.  If he had 2 and is a Minus 3, he is a zero when dropped to the minors.

The number on the top bar beside the Injury Games value is the amount of games a player has to miss in order to become eligible to be dropped via Injury Rule and not incur a points penalty and is also found beside your player in Player Tracking.

NHLP Injury Rules:  When an injured player misses the required consecutive games he may be dropped and an eligible player of equal or less points may be selected in his place.  If the injured player has less then 5 points, you may replace him with an eligible player up to 5 points.  Injury picks must be in by 6 PM, or you get pushed to the next day.  *If you do not pick on your first available day, you automatically pick behind a GM scheduled to pick that day.  If two GM's are to pick on the same day, the GM lower in the pecking order (with the overall lowest points of his three teams) picks first.  New in 2022:  If two or more GM's pick the same day by 6 PM, but both take the same players and one is not available because of this, the other GM is given to 7 PM to make a replacement pick or he is bumped to the next day.  To determine how many games a player must miss:

1)  Go to Player Tracking and find his Contract
2)  Injury Games- 9 to 13 - Found in Player Tracking means Consecutive Missed Games before a player may be replaced via the Injury Pickup Rule.
