Notes
Final 12 914 (H13 - 1074, L21 - 150) Man is GM Scott one lucky shit!  He could have lost Bolland and Toews and even Stafford and Sekera.  Without Bolland GM Scott is a serious underdog versus Ottawa (Mike & Ray) so it isn't looking good unless the Blackhawks find a way to get back to the Cup finals.  Even then, if you don't have the first round scoring to win, none of that matters.
75 16 917 (H13 - 1074, L21 - 150) Is Chicago going to make the playoffs?  GM Scott needs a little more than just that as he has banked on them since the Draft.  Led by Toews and Bolland this team could succeed on a Chicago run.  Is up 15 on 5th but will not have Edler or Bolland back until the playoffs if things go well.  A risky move adding Edler, with great upside if he does come back and play.
70 13 1074 (L21 - 150) Another season high CTR.  Still has a package sitting there for Weiss and Prospal in a 2-2 to the minors, but maybe now within the league as the space over 5th has increased to 20 points.  "If you told me we'd have 20 points to give last month, when we were 30 out" stated GM Scott, "I'd of told you the ole Oil truck can't move that fast."  Rest assured, GM Scott don't want to be checking the brakes any time soon!
65 13 1051 (L21 - 150) An 800 point jump in the CTR, suddenly Edmonton has hope with a season high CTR.  A big jump in the Standings by the Blackhawks have given Toews and Bolland value for the first time almost all season.  GM Scott says he remembers not knowing who this kid was, "Toes.  I had no clue" stated GM Scott, "But he is clearly my most favorite NHL player, Semin and Toews."  With good reason, Toews hs been unstoppable of late, getting 21 points in February alone.  Adding to the Oil season high CTR, Penner was dealt to LA while the Sharks have jumped seeds recently with their hot play, giving Boyle a solid number.  Prospal will likely be dealt, but is rated, while Weiss will get dropped at the Deadline.  The Oil have went from 30 out of 4th, to 10 up on 5th, a huge swing, and they continue to be one of the hottest scoring teams in the NHLP of late.  Only 6 points out of 1st in the West, GM Scott is no doubt eyeing not only first place, but being a buyer at the NHLP Trading Deadline, something no one would have dreamed possible just 40 days ago.
60 21 269 (H13 - 951, L21 - 150) Is now only 11 out of a playoff spot and trying to be a spoiler.  The NHL Trading Deadline could be awfully good or just another wasted opportunity for GM Scott, who seemingly banks on this day each and every year.  "Sometimes it works, but this is a longer shot I understand" said Scott.  Banking on one of Weiss or Penner getting dealt and both would be heaven sent.  All for not, however, if Chicago doesn't come back and stay in.  "We are prepared to penalty out with Toews.  He is not being dealt, under any circumstance" stated GM Scott who will not be moving his favorite player he said.  When asked if he was serious, he stated, "Bring on the penalties!"
55 21 150 (H13 - 951) Prospal is the third highest scoring playoff player on the team.  PROSPAL HAS 1 POINT!  Of the players in the playoffs, the three of them have a combined 50 points!  You can rev the engine all you want, and hell ya, those RPMs will look scary as hell, but the truck ain't going anywhere if you can't get the fucking thing out of PARK!
50 21 294 (H13 - 951, L21 - 229) One thing you have to know, if you pay attention, is that even at 30 points back, GM Scott will not go quietly.  "The teams in front of us are like deer in our headlights.  We are driving the truck, peddle on the floor, right at them, high beams on" stated GM Scott.  "We are either going to run them over, running them down or have one hell of a spectacular crash trying.  If we do crash, it will be our own recklessness.  If we blow an engine, it won't be for lack of Oil.  Regardless, the RPMs revving red."  Talks is cheap!  This team has, as much baggage, as the other junk CTR ranked teams.  A bunch of question marks for top players Stastny, Toews and Byfuglien.  Maybe the only thing this team might have going for it, is the maniac behind the wheel!
45 21 229 (H13 - 951) Things have gone from bad to worse here.  Toews isn't scoring, Prospal isn't healing, Atlanta isn't winning, Huselius is garbage and LA is a question mark at best.  The good news would be Stastny is fringe.
40 21 488 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) One of the very few teams that fell in the CTR after the Winter Meeting improvements.  GM Scott gave up his position, along with a playoff player in Ladd for Johnson and Prospal.  Huselius isn't rated, and neither is Prospal until he returns but after that this entire team is fringe with Stastny the highest seeded player.  Yikes!
35 21 526 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) The only NHLP team with four 30+ point getters and all playoff players to boot, but still a shitty CTR!  This team can easily make any kind of package and take on dead weight, so you know deals are in line here for the man with the addiction.    NEW YEAR'S WISH:  Atlanta wins their Division and gets several rounds in the playoffs with help from Chicago (Toews) going to the Cup finals.
30 15 879 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) GM Scott actually went the right way up the charts for a change.  Is hanging in there while Huselius and Propsal get healthy, likely both in after Christmas for sure.  Has 3 players totaling 10 points, so you know deals here are only an email away.  (“Are you not entertained?” - Gladiator)
25 21 517 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) Markov will become some deadbeat, but an important low number if Atlanta, Colorado or Chicago fade.  If those teams come back, this team can take on someone else's deadbeat, with three players under 5 points.  The CTR sucks, even after 7 transactions (Edmonton has been in on 1 in 4 of all transactions in the entire league) on the season!
20 15 869 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) Is GM Scott into liking pain?  Why does he go to the well, year after year, and pick Markov?  Stastny, Toews and Campbell go from zeros to numbers and ranked.  Thank goodness this division is ONLY a 5 team race.
15 17 596 (H13 - 951, L20 - 456) Gagne still doesn't have a point, but that isn't GM Scott's problem anymore.  A GM who loves the Wavier, used his aggressiveness to bring in assets Johnson, Markov and Skinner.  OK, go ahead and laugh, but YES, Skinner's Carolina team are actually rated.  The teams big guns are not however found in the ratings, as neither Toews nor Stastny factor in the CTR.  Maybe another Waiver would help that?
10 20 456 (H13 - 951) Technically Gagne didn't go his next five games without a point.  He did go his teams next 5, but has only played once since the last rating.  His problem, he's a bandaid!!!  Benn just comes back and Huselius is now gone for 6 weeks.  Look on the bright side.  NO, I am serious.  Stay positive!
5 13 951 You heard it here first everyone.....Gagne will not go his next 5 games, like his first 5, without getting a point.  No bets though, just saying.  Already know how betting with your heart can be expensive.  Thank goodness for Stastny however!  Once Benn gets his army of brain cells firing again, we think this team can still do some climbing, as Toews hasn't been scoring either, so the potential is there in the pathetic West Division.
