A nice rise up the CTR after adding Brunette, O'Reilly and Bieksa at the
Winter Meeting. Nice to see GM Ryan not packing it in here, after
all, he is only 27 out of 4th. that is nothing this team will ever
make up, but Ryan could get aggressive and help catch that amount with a
couple waivers and point gains. Maybe mix in a deal here and there
as Clark and Bieksa will have worth if they remain top seeds. It
isn't pretty but then again, it is Montreal! |

We have to call a spade a spade. GM Ryan has 54 non playoff points
from 3 players, so no one wants those guys. His highest seeded
player is from Pittsburgh, but is Talbot. Can't imagine any
bidding war there! His highest playoff player is Erat with just 17
points. He is 34 points out of the playoffs and the 29 points he
has scored in December is less than half of what 6 others teams have
done. NEW YEAR'S WISH: GM Tyson doesn't fucking win again! |

Lets be honest. No GM can somehow, magically be OK, if their top
player goes down for three months, and they lose another top pick for 6
weeks (Parise and Galiardi). We wish that on no GM, and if we had
to wish it upon any GM...well, poor old Ryan, would not be at the top of
the list. Who would be? Hey, this is about Green Bay!
Ryan, unloaded Parise and Galiardi, and is only 13 points out of 5th,
has assets in....in....in ahhhh....Clark and Talbot are on playoff teams
(there is your assets). Maybe GM Ryan should have kept Parise and
Galiardi after all! |

Take a good look at that logo...for you won't be seeing it on a Cake
next October! GM Ryan lost Parise, then he lost Galiardi and now
he has lost Laich. Well, ok, Laich is playing, but you have to
know he is next, with Ryan's luck here this season. This team has
one player rated, is injury riddled and a GM actually intent on keeping
Parise, deciding to try and weathering the storm! The only hope
right now, as is, is if the 5th place team doesn't decide to get any
points in the next two months. |

Calgary's Division!!! This team is in bad shape. Sucks
really. No one can score...well if they can, they aren't!!!
Parize just might have blown a knee and Hall may be demoted, although 5
points in 9 games is respectable. Connolly, Hall and Weiss (bad
ankle Weiss) are all not rated. This team is Knight and Day what
it was just two weeks ago and at 12 points back already, you have to
wonder...are the Knights getting longer or the days getting shorter? |

You know the best thing about being in the West? You are in
Calgary's Division!!! Great seeding from Laich, Hornqvist and
Galiardi has this team sailing, even though Parise, Weiss and Hall only
have a total of 4 points between them. That has to change in a big
way and we are certain the scoring will improve here soon. |
