If he could
ever get out of the first round, GM Jr could run again with the Wings.
Not a single East player but could have a 5 player second round.
Missing that 7th players scoring is really going to show through in the
first round where Jr can win, but will likely be gone. It is all
Detroit in a big, big way. |

Traded Briere and Setoguchi for Lidstrom and Franzen. Wow, GM Jr
maxed out you could say. He did an amazing job to turn the team
around and even though looks like he will have to eat Iggy, he will be
in and who knows from there. A Wings Cup run could make Jr a
champion (especially if Winnipeg, Mike and Ray are out). That is
insane!!! This team made 5 Deadline moves and traded a total of 9
different players to set his team. It is how it is done, even if
not too many people could do it besides GM Jr. This team was dead
and now has a very realistic shot. Go Flames Go!!! Go Wings
Go!!! |

Now 13 out of
4th with a bucket, a shovel and a pile of shit. What would you do?
"GM Jr would likely sell the shit as fertilizer" stated Muddy Capone,
"Cashing in on the demand. Then fill the bucket with anything of
value and if all that goes well, he has a great looking shovel to work
with. If it goes poorly. He'll likely just beat the fucking
crap out of someone." |

Well the Hall
injury was just a typical sign of the entire season in Calgary.
Now Huselius and Green are also out and the Flames are just diving in
the West Division, dropping 18 points to Edmonton in the past week
alone. Now 10 points back and no end in site to the madness, as
is, this team could be 25 out at the NHLP Trading Deadline if changes
are not made beforehand. Briere could make some GM very happy, but
will GM Jr trade him for no other reason than just making someone else
better? |

GM Jr has
clearly had better years in the NHLP. To be honest, we don't
really recall any worse. Briere is awesome, this we all know.
Elias, Skinner, Hall? Don't sound like names that will be dealt at
the NHL Trading Deadline. Does sound like 132 points that might
have to be traded. Huselius? Well, Columbus thinks they are
now a playoff team, so will he actually move? There isn't a lot of
points to do a lot of work, so don't expect top notch, big deals, over
little patch jobs. This team can get in, but can it really win
anything at all? This might be where Briere makes his money. |

A healthy 20
points up on 5th and still Briere and Meszaros from top seeds to build
around. Green has struggled to stay healthy, but is still a solid
asset. Has 106 non playoff points yet to deal with. GM Jr
usually grabs a waiver right about now and picks up some players in the
minors who may get dealt on NHL Trading Deadline Day. Makes the
day more fun!!! There are 9 Waivers in
total before the NHL Trading Deadline still left, so we may get to see
Jr do it again. (Note: Hejduk is an UFA so if Colorado does
not climb, he may himself be traded.) |

Still going up
the ranking. GM Jr may be hoping Horcoff will get traded, but that
is as unlikely as Gretzky coming out of retirement. Horcoff
has the longest Oilers contract, until 2016, but his low number, high
scoring down the stretch, is likely the logical reason for adding him.
Three other players are fringe and GM Jr found out first hand how tough
it will be to give his points away. There are only a very few
teams in the NHLP that can trade for non playoff guys, so fringe will
likely be in high demand later. All is good here so far, just not
great. Good usually doesn't beat great when it comes to winning
Championships so don't expect Jr to be content. |

A new season
high mark even though with the news Frolov is gone for the season.
Briere has been magic for GM Jr. Now has enough points to make
something here, whereas outside of Briere and Green there isn't a lot. |

Still with 64
non playoff player points from Stafford, Skinner and Frolov, GM Jr left
some excitement for the second half. Briere has all the value here, so
could be part of a deal or the wick that keeps this Flame burning.
Either is possible moving forward. Can this team stay in third will be
the question. |

Staying healthy
and scoring remain keys for GM Jr. Seems to be running with 6 guys
all years as it has been a revolving door with most recently Hejduk and
Green getting to know the trainers well. Skinner and Stafford are
40 points of dead weight that Jr will have to pay attention too as this
team is battling for a playoff spot in the West. NEW YEAR'S WISH:
Health. Briere making a run with the Flyers and getting some West
help from someone, he doesn't have yet, unless Colorado runs.
Could also do it with Washington, as a healthy Green is as good a D-man
as the game has in the offensive department. |

The Waiver is
the NHLP's next one and GM will likely use it to move Jokinen who has
been below average. Frolov and Eberle may have to help with the
numbers. Green has dropped seeds, even though Jr has a new
season's high mark. Little has been big of late and Briere...well
what isn't there to love about Danny Boy! ("Do
I feel lucky. Well, do ya, punk?" - Dirty Harry) |

Hejduk has been
great, but Colorado is barely in the NHL playoffs, at best. Briere
and Green are the big boys here, as both are worth a fortune in the new
NHLP. This team can afford to move an asset, as they have low
numbers to go to the minors. Those points will be needed, and
important, if one of those names are dealt by GM Jr. Has a coming
waiver, so expect some action here soon. |

Still climbing
after a slow start, and to a new CTR high. Bright spots in Briere
and Green while Hejduk is solid. Jokinen is a major bust and
Eberle, chipping in scoring, but not in the CTR, will have to be waiver
or minor material at some point. |

Green and
Briere are top seeds but not much after that as three players aren't
rated. A waiver is needed to improve the scoring or the team will
undoubtedly continue to struggle in scoring. Hejduk has been on
fire but Eberle, Jokinen, Frolov and Little have a combined 2 points
this month. |

All kidding
aside, that Eberle kid is good. Not rated, but good. GM Jr
has found his scoring after a few slow starts and the Green Injury.
Green wasted no time in coming back strong, leaving room to improve the
Capitals ranking here. Hejduk has been smoking hot while Briere
and Jokinen have improvement space in scoring and seeding. A nice
jump, but can it get higher? |

Look on the
